SpiderMed II Generation is an upgraded version of the first Generation of SpiderMed.

Just like its predecessor, SpiderMed II helps prevent and eliminate slouching. In addition, it corrects protruding abdomen (especially important for women! )  and shoulder asymmetry which often are caused by carrying heavy backpacks or bags on one shoulder. This new product enables simultaneous correction of 3 types of  postural deviations or, alternatively, concentration on dealing with only one.

SpiderMed II is intended for use by children, adolescents and adults – for the whole family. You can use SpiderMed to suit your individual needs without making sacrifices or engaging in a strenuous or complicated exercise routine. SpiderMed II can be worn only 2-3 times per day for about 15 minutes, while watching TV, working on the computer, writing, etc. 

The acoustic signal is initiated when the abdomen misaligns with the shoulders / shoulder blades. The signal stimulates the appropriate muscle groups to correct poor posture alignment. SpiderMed aids in developing good postural habits in a natural way by strengthening appropriate muscles.

SpiderMed is powered by 2 watch-type batteries, which typically do not need replacement during product lifetime as the sound signal is not activated for most of the time.
SpiderMed may be used by people of all body types: lean and stocky, short and tall. All components are fully adjustable. Adjustable sizes available are from XS to XXL.

Prior to regular SpiderMed usage, the length of the straps should be properly adjusted by putting on the device, adopting the correct, upright posture with slightly contracted abdominal muscles and adjusting the length of the braces and the belt, in such a way that the braces and the belt are slightly tight and SpiderMed does not emit the sound signal. In order to set the right strap and belt length you might need help of another person.
It is recommended for each person to use his or her own SpiderMed in order to avoid inefficiencies related to readjustment of belt and straps.

ATTENTION: The product is not advisable for use by children with diagnosed scoliosis. In case of any doubts, please consult with a doctor. Gorsets and rubber correction bands available on the mass market provide passive support vs. active muscle stimulation. As a result, muscles weaken and posture position returns to its initial point prior to start of corrective training.
