Holidays have usually been a SIMPLE affair - date, budget, choice of destination and carefree on the spot. This year, however, things are not so easy... especially if you are interested in travelling abroad. This usually involves travelling by plane, train, bus or your means of transport. There is a reason why more and more people are choosing to travel by private car or camper van. After a bit of research, it becomes apparent that the list of restrictions and requirements is long and varies from airport to airport, carrier to carrier and country to country!
Do you wonder which face mask is appropriate for an aircraft? Which masks are compulsory at airports and on aeroplanes? Do similar rules apply to other means of public transport?
The MINIMUM FILTERS accepted by most places in masks/masks are FFP2KN95 and N95 or surgical masks. The requirements are also met by N99 or FFP3 and KN99, which are even more effective. Most importantly, the use of a protective mask is compulsory in airports/airports as well as onboard aeroplanes, buses and trains. Children under the age of 5 are exempt from the obligation to wear the mask (depending on the country you travel to)
In the event of non-compliance with the requirement to properly wear a protective mask or facial covering (following current legislation and EASA guidelines), such persons may be escorted off the premises by designated personnel, security or government services.
Similar rules apply to most public transport. Remember to disinfect your hands or wear gloves everywhere and keep a distance of 1.5 - 2m from other travellers, be prepared to take your temperature at the wrist, temple or forehead.
What do you MUST check before departure?
There is some information without which you should not be planning a trip these days. What we should check at least a few working days before departure?
ATTENTION: Before departure, it is advisable to check whether the airline or the airport you will be using has any specific recommendations regarding the type of masks allowed on board and at the airport. Lufthansa airline, for example, stipulates: " Masks made of fabric will no longer be permitted, just as previously banned visors and masks with valves."
